City launches toxic drug response program

New Westminster City Hall

Last week the city announced it had launched a toxic drug response program, in partnership with Fraser Health. The group consists of a “second responder team” that includes one New West fire fighter and two members of Fraser Health’s Overdose Outreach Team.

This program follows a similar one launched in Surrey in 2019. To learn more about New West’s program, check out the city’s bulletin on its launch.
