When sending in your photos, please include your social media handle and/or how you'd like us to credit you so we can do so accordingly

We do NOT respond to region-wide or nation-wide press releases unless they are of interest and they are specific to New Westminster
Please note that if there is a certain edition of The Anchor's newsletter you'd like to see your event covered in: the sooner you get the tip to us, the better.
Items with a turnaround of 48 hours (from when your email is received to when it should be published) are not guaranteed to be featured
Events
Because we publish newsletters two times a week, our events are shared in the Thursday edition.
Event listings are a premium service, and the full, comprehensive listing is only shown to our Premium Insider subscribers. For public showings, we pick 8-10 to feature in tiles on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. These 8-10 spaces are first come, first served.

To ensure we see your event, we ask that you please do not DM information over Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or TikTok, as they can sometimes end up in separate folders; email has been the best way for us to ensure local events are included. Anything sent through DM over social media is not guaranteed a space.
When you send us your event info, do let us know the following:
Who is hosting it?
What's the event for? (Fundraiser? Not-for-profit? Arts/crafts fair?)
The date(s) it'll be happening
Any additional links, email addresses, and/or phone numbers you can share with us (links to buy tickets, learn more info, registration, etc.)
