THINGS TO DO

How to enjoy the Easter long weekend in New Westminster

Good news if you’re planning to keep things local over the Easter long weekend: there are a number of events you can take part in in New West!

  • Easter egg hunt. Taking place at the Farmers’ Market Easter block party, this event is for those ages 2 to 10. Parent participation is required. The Easter block party is happening from 3 to 7pm today at Tipperary Park.

  • Tote bag painting workshop. Find this fun activity at the Queensborough Community Centre. This event is for those ages 8 to 12.

  • Easter chocolate making. There are multiple offerings of this event—though we should note that it’s filling up fairly fast. Both classes are happening at the Queensborough Community Centre.

  • Easter skate eggstravaganza. Get those skates on and enjoy some ice time at Moody Park Arena.

All events are happening from today until Apr. 1 inclusive. For the full list of City Easter events, be sure to take a look at their special events booking page. Spots are limited, and are first come, first served.
