There are three New West locations on board for the 21st season of the Dine Out Vancouver Festival, which will begin on Friday, Jan. 20.
Gino's Restaurant
Gino's Restaurant, a family-run spot serving pizza, pasta, Greek fare, steaks, and burgers since 1972—will offer three courses for $25. Options are available for lunch and dinner, and include entree choices like roast lamb, chicken souvlaki, prawn souvlaki, lasagna with meatballs, or a small specialty pizza.
The restaurant is taking reservations at 604-525-1071.
El Santo
If you've been itching to grab some Mexican food, El Santo is also on the list. The pricing for this Downtown restaurant's Dine Out offer is $46.
Patrons can choose from delicious entrees like risotto do vieras, carne ahumada, or chile relleno. There are also some vegetarian and gluten free options to choose from.
You can book a table online or call El Santo at 604-553-1849.
The Boathouse New Westminster
If dining closer to the water is more your pace, don't rule out The Boathouse New Westminster. The Quayside spot's menu is $65, with a variety of surf and/or turf meals to choose from like lobster ravioli, Szechuan salmon and shrimp, or a 7oz sirloin with grilled prawns.
The Boathouse New West is accepting online reservations or can be reached at 604-525-3474.
If you'd like to take a look at the other restaurants participating throughout Metro Vancouver, be sure to look at Dine Out Vancouver's restaurant listings page.
Dine Out Vancouver is currently organized by Destination Vancouver—formerly Tourism Vancouver—and began in 2002 after a group of food and wine enthusiasts pitched the idea of an event that would involve a fixed-price menu. The goal was to get people to visit local restaurants during one of the slowest times of the year.
The inaugural event saw 57 restaurants take part; since then, hundreds of chefs, more than 300 restaurants, wineries, and craft breweries have participated.
The festival will run until Sunday, Feb. 5.
