When I first saw the proposed sketches for the Columbia Square development, I was pretty stunned. It is quite different from the space we know now!

C.C.’s face is accurate. Giphy.

I hope you’ll take a chance to look at The Anchor piece on the suggested development, as I’d love to hear what you think. Fill out our poll of the day below or reply to the newsletter to share your two cents.

EDGAR Development will take the lead on this pedestrian-focused space, which will include six to eight residential towers and a daycare space. The developer is also promising “significant rental” as part of its community.

However, the City of New Westminster has cautioned that the development is in the early stages, and there is still some info that needs to be provided by EDGAR.

Get the full scoop in The Anchor’s piece, which you can find here.
